“Writing is where it all started. Even before I could spell, I would write stories. And, as you can imagine, they’re pretty funny to look back on now.”

Lauren has over ten years experience in creative writing. At 16 years old, she published her first children’s book entitled ‘Do You Know Who I Am Now’. She has written five novels, been published in poem anthologies and University journals. She holds a certificate of creative writing from Dawson College, 2019. Now, focusing on script writing, she is currently writing her first feature length film that will go into production in the summer of 2021.

Lauren currently works part time as a captioner, creating and editing broadcast quality subtitle output for the hard of hearing on popular American TV channels, such as CNN, CBSN, The Weather Channel, Fox Sports, QVC and many others.
